We are looking for a passionate Test Analysts to design, develop and deploy test strategies for software functions of a variety (within Tractors, Crop Care and Precision AG organizations). Test Analyst responsibilities include gathering reviewing feature requirements, defining system test cases and executing them into the target product or simulation environments. Our ideal candidates have Certified Tester Foundation Level, are familiar to software development and are familiar with farming environment. Main Responsibilities Design and Perform features test on John Deere Products; Owns test infrastructure and coordinates directly with DevOps teams; Perform verification tests of Embedded applications running on John Deere Products and simulation environments; Review feature documentation such as System and Software requirements, and UX specifications in order to define Test Plans and Test Designs, including the respective test scenarios; Report Product and Feature nonconformances and defects; Participate on defects management process; Be part of the feature development process and support test planning activities; Automate regression tests for specific product features. What Skills You Need Bachelor in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or compatible; English work experience; Experience in tests and task automation; Knowledge in software fundamentals, methods and test processes, creation of test scenario and test cases – manual and automated; Experience with test and defects management tools; Experience with agile processes. What Makes You Stand Out Experience with Product and Software Requirements; Able to develop software; Has CTFL certification (Certified Tester Foundation Level); Knows APIs for tests and web services; Knows about product quality and software test metrics; Have experience with CAN and J1939 protocol and experience with DevOps; Familiar with farming equipment and machinery and experience with field and farm operations such as planting and harvesting.
